A cook with a flair for both Australian/ western and Indian cuisine.

Observe highest health, hygiene and safety standards.

Prepare ingredients according to recipes using judgement and skill

Preparing in house gourmet wraps, Burgers, sandwiches,salads & otehr meals for breakfast & lunch etc.

Preparing curry bases, Samosa’s, Tikki (Potato Burger-Indian Style), Golgappa/Pani Puri, using tawa (Indian Hot Plate) to cook various breads and creating desserts such as Gulabjamun and jalebi.

Adding/deleting dishes on the menu to cater for special requirements and seasonal variations.

Attend all meetings, make menu suggestions and improvements to existing systems

Ensure all checklists are observed upon opening and prior to closing.

Be responsible for maintaining the cooking equipment and utensils and ensure they are working properly at all times

Co-ordinate, train and supervise kitchen staff.


Be happy, polite and courteous at all times. Hold a Certificate III in Hospitality (Cookery) including at least two years experience. Must have the ability to work under pressure, supervise others and infuse creative ideas to food. Australian citizens/Permanent residents preferred.
